He is finally killed by Shibungi when Funeral Parlor invades GHQ for the last time. By then, he’s followed Gai to GHQ and serves as a worthy rival in hacking to Tsugumi, who remains in Funeral Parlor after the first season. After a while, he disappears into the background and only comes back in the second season. He is pretty much only important whenever Shu needs his Void, which is a gun that disables gravity. In Episode 4, he is rescued by the Funeral Parlor, and willingly joins them. So he already has mass murder and terrorism on his record. We can imply that he is a mischievous little guy, given his strong background in demolitions and his involvement in the “Sky Tree Bombing”, which we assume to be pretty bad though we only get one shot of the thing. Sure, he basically became Tsugumi’s hacker rival when he switched sides, but he’s just there. You know, I actually liked Kido around for the first bit, and was a bit disappointed he didn’t get much of a greater role after the first three episodes he showed up in.
